UK Bed Sizes – Bed Dimensions GuideBed sizes can vary slightly depending on the design, so please feel free to ask us if you're unsure whether a particular bed will fit your space. As a general rule:- Sleigh beds tend to be longer due to their curved design.
- Wingback beds are usually wider because of their extended wings.
- Square-frame Fabric Designer Beds are typically the most compact.
- Adding ottoman gas-lift storage to a slatted bedstead will increase the overall length by approximately 1–2 inches (3–5 cm).
